Tanner and the Vacuum

Tanner loves to help me clean around the house. I just give him a wipe and he will wipe down anything in his reach. He even loves the vacuum, which none of my other kids have, and he will stand right in front of it as I try to vacuum. So I decided to let him have a try. He would turn it on and off, but it kept him busy for about an hour. He's better than a roomba.

Horsey

Chad has always been the horse around our house. If he is sitting on the ground Tanner will push him down and hop on his back. And of course if Tanner is getting a ride the others need one too. This time Brittany found a bridle for him too. I don't know how much longer he will be able to give all three a ride at the same time. He even does push-ups with them on his back.

New Phone

I recently got a new phone. Finally I have upgraded to a smart phone. Chad has had one for a couple of years now and has lots of games loaded on his. The kids love to take the phones and play the games and now they don't have to fight over who gets it. I think they are addicted. Brayden was holding my phone during scripture study and the phone "accidently turned onto Angry Birds". It was so cute Chad and I just had to laugh.

No TV

Chad and I have decided that we are not going to watch TV on Sundays and it has been hard for me. I love to watch TV after the kids go to bed and I relax. Chad likes it and thinks it is getting easier, I still think it is hard. So I have decided to use the time to update our blog instead. Hopefully the blog will stay updated now.

Family Pictures

I remembered about newer pictures from Christmas, so I changed the top picture. My brother-in-law took the pictures and he got this one of Britt and me. It is my favorite.

I know it has been almost a year since I posted anything on my blog, but I have a goal to do better. I even finally put a family picture up with Tanner in it. Even it is almost a year old. Time for new pictures.

Brittany's Baptism

Brittany was baptized about a month ago and I can't begin to describe how happy I was that day. I wanted to cry the whole time we were at the church, I was so emotional and then the big moment happened and I wish it could have been in slow motion. When I was helping her change in the dressing room I had tears in my eyes and I wanted to hug her, but I couldn't because she was all wet. It has been one of the happiest days of my life. I am so proud of the decision she made to be baptized (and yes we did ask her). Afterwards we had a dinner for family at the church and that turned out really well. Thanks to everyone who came to support her on her special day.
